There are a lot of lists of sites that offer stock photos but some are not really free for commercial use and some require attribution. I’m sharing this collection of free stock photography sites that you can use for your blog and business. These photos are under CC0 license which means you can use these photos for both personal and commercial use for free and without attribution. Take note that you are not allowed to redistribute, to sell, to give away as freebies or to use the photos to establish your own stock photo site.

Although not necessary, it is much appreciated to link back to their sites if you use their photos. Don’t risk your blog and business by using photos stolen from Google Search, other sites and by using free stock photos wrongly.  To be sure, check the licence or terms of use before using photos from any free stock photo site.

  2. Hi Najmah,

    Great post!

I recently started a new photo site you might find interesting.
It’s called OneLeft Media and it’s a thinking-outside-the-box stock photo library that offers professional artwork for free without copyright restrictions. I create new artwork and update the site every other week with 10 fresh high-res photos.

The project can be found at http://www.oneleftmedia.com. If you like my work I would feel honored if you could add me to your list.

    Thanks!!!!
    Lior
